*It's A Family Affair!* There are seven Doctors of Chiropractic within the Stiso Family. It all began in 1959 when Dr. Frank A. Stiso was injured during a high school football game. His family doctor told him he would be out the rest of the season. Disheartened by the news, he wondered if chiropractic care could help. His father took him to see Dr. Water, a local chiropractor in Linden NJ. Within days Dr. Stiso was back on the playing field! Years later Dr. Stiso attended The Chiropractic Institute of New York and would go on to found the Colonia Chiropractic Center in Colonia, NJ. Today there are 4 locations throughout the State. Dr. Frank R. Stiso, Chiropractic Physician Dr. Stiso received his Bachelor’s Degree from Seton Hall University in 1995 and received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Life University in 1999. Dr. Stiso is proficient in a variety of spinal manipulative techniques such as Diversified, Flexion Distraction, Thompson, Pierce, SOT, and HIO Upper Cervical Specific. In addition, Dr. Stiso is also highly experienced in chiropractic pediatrics as well as the Webster's In-Utero Constraint Technique, a specific chiropractic technique which helps turn breech baby presentations to the vertex (normal, head down) position. Stiso, Chiropractic Physician Dr. Frank A. Stiso founded the Colonia Chiropractic Center in 1965 and has been providing quality health care to patients within the tri-state area for the past five decades. Currently serving as the American Chiropractic Association New Jersey Delegate, Dr. Stiso is also the first Chiropractic Physician in the United States to be placed on a Blue Cross Blue Shield medical policy committee. Dr. Stiso is a Certified Sports Physician, Board Certified Disability Analyst, Family Practitioner of Personal, Industrial and Sports Related Injuries. EDUCATION, AWARDS & CIVIC ACTIVITIES Dr. Michele E. Stiso, Chiropractic Physician Dr. Michele E. Stiso received her Bachelor's Degree from Montclair State University in 1992. In 1998, she received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Life University school of Chiropractic. Dr. Michele Stiso is a Diversified/ Sacral Occipital Technique practitioner and an active member of the ANJC, ACA and FCA. Dr. Darlene P. Stiso, Chiropractic Physician Dr. Darlene P. Stiso obtained her Bachelor's Degree from Seton Hall University, South Orange NJ, in 1993. She received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Life University school of Chiropractic in 1999. Dr. Darlene is versed in most Chiropractic techniques and is board certified in Cox Flexion-Distraction Chiropractic Technique.
